YouTube

Okay I have something to confess, I'm pretty much obsessed with the internet. I'm sure this is also true for millions of people out there but I just wanted to talk about it. The internet is full of amazing, weird and wonderful things as well as some not so great stuff, but the internet has given us YouTube. Personally I have found that I'm able to watch numerous videos for hours on end.

Over the past couple of years YouTube has become a worldwide known website, which has acted as a platform for millions of people to share everything and anything. So I thought I'd write this little blog post and talk about some of my favourite people to watch (which sounds a bit stalkerish) but specifically my top five.

First of all there is Dan Howell also known as danisnotonfire who is a 23 year old British video blogger and radio presenter, who makes videos about various things about his life to make his viewers laugh, and lets them know they’re not alone, as well as sometimes giving advice along the way. (https://www.youtube.com/user/danisnotonfire/featured )

Next there is Esteė Button more commonly known as Essie Button who is a Canadian Beauty/lifestyle blogger and vlogger who as captured the interests of thousands of viewers with her tips and tricks as well as her personality and Greyhound Reggie. At the age of 23 Esteė has over 600 thousand YouTube viewers combined over her two channels. (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvFyPrPVotqsTlqxUmAOYRw)
Esteė can also be found at (http://www.essiebutton.com/ )

Another YouTube I can't seem to get enough of is Connor Franta who is a 21 year old American who creates various content. Connor has recently left O2L which is a group channel that has weekly themes. Franta has over 2 million subscribers showing how lovable and amazing he is within his videos that are only a couple of minutes long. Connor can be found on his to personal channels as well as in a couple of collaboration videos.

Fourth on my list is JacksGap which was originally created by Jack Harries to document his gap year but due to its amazing success Jack and his twin brother Finn Harries create amazing and inspirational videos. Both twins at the age of 21 have managed to gather over 3 million subscribers and can be found on their YouTube channel and website.

Finally in this list is xUnstoppableRidingx which is a YouTube channel that creates equine videos which are inspiring and just captures my interest. xUnstoppableRidingx is made by Joana from Germany which was created in 2010.

What are your favourite YouTube channels? And who are your favourite YouTube personalities?
Would you want me to make a similar post in the future?

Mini Update

It feels like it's been years since I last updated my blog. Well I can safely say a lot has been going on. I have four weeks left at college, so as you might think it has been absolutely hectic with the amount of course work I need to finish. To be honest I can't decide if I'm happy or sad about leaving college, I'm excited to move on but scared of what might happen.

Adding to this I have been thinking about opportunities that have been cropping up and deciding what takes priority and how everything will affect my future. In the next few weeks I have no idea what to expect but I can only hope that I don't miss out on anything important.

Thinking about my past and my future I can't help but think I've taken the wrong career path, I have so many ambition, hopes and dreams just like every other person,  I just hope they work out. It's time I start taking risks and putting myself out there instead of standing behind the scenes and watching everyone else move forward in life.

I guess what happens in the next few months is going to be key.

Hopefully I will have more time to update my blog more regularly now, but we'll have to see. Until next time, byeeee.

Inspiring spoken words

Whilst spending one of many hours on the internet, I came across a link to a YouTube video. Now you may be thinking that happens everyday, every hour, every few seconds spent online and you'd be right, but this link sent me to a certain video which has made me rethink my future decisions.

From one link to another I found the 'sequel' I guess you could call it, and honestly it has changed my perception on education and the future. These two videos have finally persuaded me to follow my heart instead of what society tells me. All I can be is thankful that I have made this realization now rather than later in life, but that being said it is never to late to change your life.

Thanks to these videos I WILL reach for my goals rather than settling with what others tell me is best, I WILL make a difference and I WILL do what makes me happy rather than doing nothing because I care about what others think.

Maybe these videos could help you too, or help a friend. Even if the videos don't help, I recommend you watch them as they are inspiring and may give you a different view on education and what you can achieve in life.

These videos are created by Suli Breaks, a very talented and inspiring spoken word artist.

Hello...

How do you start writing a blog?, well I guess a good place to begin is with a bit of information about me. I am currently 17 years old and attend college which unfortunately is coming to an end as I finish in July, meaning I'll be packing my bags and moving to university in a few months time, which scares the hell out of me!

I've created this blog to allow me to share my experiences and interests with others no matter how small or irrelevant they might be. So people can learn from me and I can share my inspiration as well as my opinions with who ever is willing to read about it.

So I guess that's it for now to start of my hopefully interesting blog, Byeee
