Mini Update

It feels like it's been years since I last updated my blog. Well I can safely say a lot has been going on. I have four weeks left at college, so as you might think it has been absolutely hectic with the amount of course work I need to finish. To be honest I can't decide if I'm happy or sad about leaving college, I'm excited to move on but scared of what might happen.

Adding to this I have been thinking about opportunities that have been cropping up and deciding what takes priority and how everything will affect my future. In the next few weeks I have no idea what to expect but I can only hope that I don't miss out on anything important.

Thinking about my past and my future I can't help but think I've taken the wrong career path, I have so many ambition, hopes and dreams just like every other person,  I just hope they work out. It's time I start taking risks and putting myself out there instead of standing behind the scenes and watching everyone else move forward in life.

I guess what happens in the next few months is going to be key.

Hopefully I will have more time to update my blog more regularly now, but we'll have to see. Until next time, byeeee.

Inspiring spoken words

Whilst spending one of many hours on the internet, I came across a link to a YouTube video. Now you may be thinking that happens everyday, every hour, every few seconds spent online and you'd be right, but this link sent me to a certain video which has made me rethink my future decisions.

From one link to another I found the 'sequel' I guess you could call it, and honestly it has changed my perception on education and the future. These two videos have finally persuaded me to follow my heart instead of what society tells me. All I can be is thankful that I have made this realization now rather than later in life, but that being said it is never to late to change your life.

Thanks to these videos I WILL reach for my goals rather than settling with what others tell me is best, I WILL make a difference and I WILL do what makes me happy rather than doing nothing because I care about what others think.

Maybe these videos could help you too, or help a friend. Even if the videos don't help, I recommend you watch them as they are inspiring and may give you a different view on education and what you can achieve in life.

These videos are created by Suli Breaks, a very talented and inspiring spoken word artist.

Hello...

How do you start writing a blog?, well I guess a good place to begin is with a bit of information about me. I am currently 17 years old and attend college which unfortunately is coming to an end as I finish in July, meaning I'll be packing my bags and moving to university in a few months time, which scares the hell out of me!

I've created this blog to allow me to share my experiences and interests with others no matter how small or irrelevant they might be. So people can learn from me and I can share my inspiration as well as my opinions with who ever is willing to read about it.

So I guess that's it for now to start of my hopefully interesting blog, Byeee
